Area Overview

Blaine is a seaside community in NW Washington at the Canadian border with a rich maritime history. We are within an hour of Mt Baker, the Cascade Mountain recreation area, San Juan Island ferries, Seattle and within minutes of Vancouver,British Columbia. We have great outdoor activities available and are within 30 minutes of museums, shopping, theater and a university in the mid sized city of Bellingham.

The local bus system connects Blaine with other cities in the county including Bellingham where the train station, cruise terminal. car rentals and international airport are located.
